An engineered solution to allow temporary fitment of control boxes via clamping onto existing structure within a rolling stock passenger car.
Re-Engineered Vents on Central Line
Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), these replacement vents for the London Underground (Central Line Tube Stock) were designed to eliminate dust build-up whilst providing a vastly improved airflow, creating a more pleasant passenger experience and significantly reduced maintenance schedule.
Software
Creactive Design have 15 years of experience using Solidworks on a daily basis. It is one of the quickest most cost effective modelling and drafting software solutions, giving us the ability to respond to short deadline prototyping projects as well as produce technical drawings for production and quality control. More recently we have also added Fusion 360 Ultimate for its organic modelling tools and integration with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
Ansys Mechanical Pro is an industry standard for structural analysis particularly in the transport and now also the product design industry. This is due to its accuracy and efficiency. Creactive Design have used Ansys to check the structural integrity and fatigue life of track monitoring equipment fitted to the underside of a train and the bogies.
We use a vast array of software packages for engineering design development and simulation. These are listed below but include Solidworks and Ansys which are the main platforms we use for design and engineering.
